Women at Trinity

Trinity Lutheran Church Women

Some of the women at the church may belong to one of the Circles, the Altar Guild or the Quilters. Most of the circles have special projects: Kits for Women's Crisis Shelter, Newborn Kits for needy mothers, contributions to the food shelf, postage for a Mexican project, St. Louis County Jail Ministry, World Hunger, or Bethesda Orphanage (Wisconsin), serving for funerals, as well as contributions to the Synod, the ELCA and several Duluth charities. Women attend Lake Superior Conference Gatherings and the Northeast Minnesota Synod Convention. Fund raising events include spring and fall rummage sales.

The Trinity Quilting Ladies

This group has met every Tuesday morning for many years to sew quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Fabric is renovated, ironed and reused for quilts. They have often completed more than 200 quilts in one year, to send to mission needs!
