| We
checked into the hotel and had our first worship. Pastor Mark from the
15th Avenue Baptist Church joined us, along with his son, Emmanuel. It
was great to meet them. He taught us the Baptist way of worship. So, if
some Sunday someone hollers out AMEN during our service, it means they
really agree with the message.
The next
morning we went to the 15th Avenue Baptist Church for worship. It was a
very lively and uplifting service.

| Following
the service we went on to our painting duties. Some of us painted a couple
of businesses that the church owns and rents out to new businesses at a
low lease rate. Others painted at a camp about twenty minutes out of town.
Still others painted at local houses. We all had great experiences. |

| We had
three days set aside for painting, but completed it in two! So, we all
got to sleep late the following day. Did that feel good! |
